Ana Karenina
Anna Karenina is a young and elegant wife of Count Karenin, who is wealthy and twenty years older than Anna. She is bored with her husband. She makes a trip from St. Petersburg to Moscow, where she meets the handsome Count Vronsky he is single . Anna and Vronsky fall in love with each other, and he comes to be with her in St. Petersburg. They are very happy together and are a great looking couple, but their happiness soon crumbles under social pressures. Because in that In that time it was seen badly to go out with another man who was not your husband . Anna hopelessly begs her husband for a divorce, but he is rough and wants to keep the mother of their child. With Vronsky she has another baby , but he is also torn between his love to Anna and his own career. she starts taking drugs to numb her emotional pain. Conflict between her untamed desires and painful reality leads her to depression and suicidal thoughts. Unable to cope with what her life has given her, she commits suicide because she was desesperated and she decides suicide by jumping in front a train, and she died.
There are many versions of books I read the book and I saw the movie, And I think that in that epoch it was strange to see this type of things but nowadays it is normal to see this type of cases.
